Once baby is born we will take care of your newborn in and out of hospital. After being discharged from the hospital we will see you within two days of discharge (even on weekends!). Once home, we will provide baby with routine newborn care - this includes weight and jaundice checks at our clinic. Should you choose to breastfeed we are happy to support you - please see our breastfeeding section for more info. 

 

We will review feeding plans and answer your well baby questions at appointments. You will see one of our nurses/lactation consultants as well as a physician at these appointments.  We can follow your baby for up to 6 weeks and will then transfer care to your primary care provider. 

 

On the rare occasion your baby may need to be readmitted to the hospital , (ie. significant jaundice) we will continue to follow you during the admission.
